Purpose of ADRK

The statute of the "General German Rottweiler Club (ADRK) e.V." describes the association purpose as follows:

Appointment of the race characteristics

Preservation, strengthening and recess of the characteristics of the Rottweilers recognized as use and a protection dog; increase a its characteristical and physical plants.

Monitoring of the breed and training. Promotion of the use of the Rottweilers as a service dog at authorities and in the public service, as a blind leading dog and as an auxiliary dog in emergencies.

Promotion and consultation of the members in breed -, raising and attitude questions; Consultation of the members in all cynologiqual questions; Assistance when acquisition and delivery of Rottweilers.

Wake the interest, in particular with young people, for the Rottweiler, its breed and versatile range of application.

Appointment of the breed and breed regulations, as well as the judge order. Execution of breed fitness examinations, Körungen and performance evaluations. Guidance and publication of the Breeding-, Kör- and Performance books.

Promotion and support of recognized breed shows and performance evaluations of the Country groups and District groups.

Promotion of the sporty manipulation and thus physical training of the dog leaders by regular and systematic training of the Rottweilers to the different intended purposes. Execution of dog-sporty competitionsand promotion the comrade shank in the sport.

Promotion of scientific research in the area that Cynologie.

Co-operation with all trailers and communities of interests of the Rottweilers in the whole world.
Training and appointment of Breed judges, Körmeistern and Performance judges.

Publication of the Rottweiler-News, as well as recruiting and informing writings over the Rottweiler, its breed, Training and use.

The action area of the ADRK is the Federal Republic of Germany. Therefore all activities are limited to Germany. Thus one can abroad neither ADRK-Breeding place stand still one ADRK-Performance test are accomplished.
